This file provides late-breaking news and information on Titan that could not be included in the manual. UPGRADE WARNING: We are using a completely new registration and password management scheme for this upgrade. Be sure you have registered your current copy as we are not going to allow upgrades for anyone not registered. We now provide each registered user with their own unique password sent via email, so if you are not registered we can't send you the upgrade password. All uses of TwwtaTable and TwwtaQuery will need to be changed to be TtaTable and TtaQuery types respectively. Edit your DFM and .PAS files accordingly. * Titan now includes a help file that is installed automatically when you install Titan. * This version supports the DAO 3.6 which comes with Access 2000. Please note that the Titan Version preference setting for forcing a particular version of the DAO now accepts the value 36 in addition to 30 and 35. Without a DAO version preference Titan looks for DAO 3.6, then 3.5, and finally 3.0. Please see the manual or the help file for more information on this setting. REQUIREMENTS: To use this product you MUST have: * Delphi 7.0 * Access 95, 97 or 2000 for Windows 9x/NT or the Jet 3.0, 3.5, or 3.6 engine. Titan uses the Data Access Objects (DAO) interface to connect to the Jet database engine that Access uses. Please note that Titan does NOT ship with the Access engine or the DAO interface Titan requires. Access and the DAO can be obtained from Microsoft directly. TEST DRIVERS: If this version is a Titan Test Drive version, then the product is fully functional except that your Borland tool must be running when your compiled applications are run. Please note that it is in violation of the Titan license agreement to use a Test drive version for anything other than product evaluation. INSTALLATION NOTES: See the Installation notes in the manual or the help file for details on Titan installation. MAINTENANCE: The Titan Access list server is now free to all REGISTERED users, so get your registration card back to us right away.
